A letter to My Students
I am ecstatic to be teaching fifth grade teacher this year! I thought you might want to know a little bit about me.
I grew up in King George County and went to King George High School. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher. In high school I took a teachers for tomorrow class my junior and senior year where I was able to spend some time at KGES. I then attended Brigham Young University Idaho where I graduated with my bachelor’s in elementary education. I had the opportunity to do my student teaching in Las Vegas Nevada with a second grade class. During my breaks I substituted at KGES and loved every moment. I am excited to be on the fifth grade team!
My husband and I love to go hiking and camping. We have one adorable daughter named Elliott and we have one spoiled rotten dog named Lyndon who is adventurous and full of energy. We also enjoy traveling to see new places and cultures. In my free time I like to paint and create new things. I also love to browse Pinterest.
Teaching is my passion. I believe that children have the ability to learn anything they are inspired to put their mind to. I have complete confidence in every one of my students. It’s going to be a year filled with fun, learning, and lots of adventures.
